Pasta salad is one of the traditional Italian dishes. Such an original side dish can be prepared in various variations: with cheese, vegetables, meat, sausage. Ordinary vegetable oil, mayonnaise, yogurt, sour cream or homemade sauces based on them are suitable as a dressing. The dish always turns out not only tasty, but also very satisfying.
For our today’s salad, we used canned corn, boiled chicken and quail eggs. For dressing – olive oil. It turned out delicious.

Only pasta made from durum wheat is suitable for making salad. Any others simply won't keep their shape.
For a salad, you need to choose pasta of the correct shape, such as horns, bows, spirals.
It is important to cook pasta properly. You can’t use overcooked products in a salad; it’s better not to overcook a little.
Pasta should be boiled in moderately salted water, as after that it will still be washed.
Salad can be flavored not only with salt and black pepper, spices will give it a brighter taste.
To prevent pasta from sticking together after washing with water, you can add a spoonful of vegetable oil to them and mix.
Olive oil is used for dressing. However, it is permissible to replace it with low-fat sour cream or natural yogurt.
It is advisable to prepare pasta salads immediately before the arrival of guests. If such a dish sits for too long, the pasta will absorb all the sauce, swell and lose its taste.
