  • Absolutely any variety of vegetable is suitable for carrot caviar. A more delicious dish is obtained if you take bright orange root crops.
  • To grind the ingredients, you can use any utensils: a grater, a meat grinder, a knife, a food processor or a blender.
  • Carrots for caviar can be fried, boiled until half cooked or used raw. It all depends on the further method of heat treatment of vegetables.
  • To make carrot caviar tender and without lumps, it is advisable to grind its ingredients with a blender.
  • An appetizer can be prepared both for a long time (for the winter) and for a short one (a couple of weeks).

Step by step method

  • Step 1

    Wash vegetables. We clean the garlic, cut the carrot into small pieces.
