Step by step method
Step 1
We wash the lentils from motes and pour two glasses of water, put the saucepan on medium heat. When it boils, reduce the heat and cook until cooked, making sure that it does not burn.

We clean the carrots, onions and garlic. Finely chop the onion and send it to a frying pan preheated with oil.

Grate the carrots on a coarse grater and add to the onion.

Stir and leave on low heat, stirring constantly.

We filter the finished lentils through a sieve, draining unnecessary water, and cool.

By this time, the vegetables are ready, add fragrant garlic to them. Saute vegetables for 1 minute and cool.

We shift the cooked lentils into a saucepan or measuring cup, add soft butter (you need to get it out of the refrigerator in advance).

Tips & variations
Do not add too much vegetable oil while frying vegetables, otherwise the pâté will turn out greasy!
In order for the garlic to give off all its aroma and pungency, it is better to crush the garlic with a knife (flat side) and then finely chop it.
You can use lentils for pate and greens, it also turns out very tasty.
If you use mushrooms, here in pâté they will go very well together. Just fry small pieces of champignons, and then grind together with the rest of the ingredients in a blender.
