Step by step method

  • Step 1

Place the butter and chocolate in a saucepan and melt over low heat or a steam bath, you should get a glossy homogeneous mass. It should be slightly cooled.

  • Step 2

    Grind eggs with sugar.

  • Step 3

    Pour into chocolate mixture.

  • Step 4

Add flour and stir until you get a thick, sticky dough.

  • Step 5

Grease muffin tins or other suitable small-diameter molds with butter and sprinkle with cocoa. With a spoon, spread the dough into molds for 2/3 of the volume.

  • Step 6

Cook at 180 degrees for 5-10 minutes, depending on the features of the oven.

  • Step 7

You can lightly press on the surface with your finger: the outside of the Fondant should be solid, and the liquid filling should be felt inside.

  • Step 8

Serve the Fondant warm, otherwise the chocolate will harden inside.

Tips & variations

  • The main thing when cooking Fondant is to attach yourself to your own oven and understand how long it takes to get a real Fondant with a crispy appetizing crust on the outside and a liquid, chocolate cream.

  • To make the dough more homogeneous, the butter should be at room temperature.

  • Cake chocolate is taken bitter, from 70%, it has a pleasant aroma, bitterness will not be felt, since sugar is used.

  • Eggs need to be refrigerated in order to beat easily. You can add a few grains of salt, experienced chefs say that this also facilitates the whipping process.

  • To improve the flavor of baking, you can add a little vanilla or use vanilla sugar to beat with eggs.

A wonderful option for a sweet treat for a children’s holiday. Everyone was happy, both adults and children. They even asked for a supplement. It’s good that everything is described in detail in the recipe, it’s important to me as a novice cook.
