Step by step method

  • Step 1

If you are going to cook in the oven, turn it on as soon as possible, because the process of preparing the mass is very quick and simple. We heat the oven to a temperature of 180-200 degrees, but for now we will prepare the cottage cheese: rub it with a fork or rub it through a sieve, if necessary.

  • Step 2

Then put it in a bowl and add a little kefir. You need to start with the portion indicated in the recipe, if necessary, pour a little more. When mixing food, remember that an egg will also go here. Since we have a recipe without flour and semolina, you need to get a fairly thick consistency.

  • Step 3

Next, add honey to the bowl. Here, too, proceed from your tastes.

  • Step 4

At this stage, beat in the egg. Lightly mix everything.

  • Step 5

At the bottom of the form, oiled and sprinkled with breading, spread slices of apples. Pour half of the curd mixture on top. Then lay out a layer of blackcurrant and fill it with the second half. Sprinkle raisins on top.

  • Step 6

We send the form to a well-heated oven. Bake for about 45 minutes, until a delicious tan appears on the surface of the dish. The dish will turn out beautiful on top and very tender inside.

Tips & variations

  • If the mass is too liquid, you can add 1 tablespoon of starch. Then it will definitely keep its shape.

  • Choose sour-milk cottage cheese that is well pressed, at least 9% fat. To achieve the most velvety texture of the casserole, choose a fine-grained cottage cheese.

  • Optionally, instead of sweet raisins, you can add sourness with dried cherries, cranberries or dried apricots.

  • Whatever you choose, dry fruits should be washed and dried. Soak them in hot water first. After five minutes, drain the water so that they do not become too sour, and blot with a paper towel.

I love these casseroles, they are delicious and healthy, due to the fact that there is no flour in the. It’s good that there is no semolina in the recipes, baking with semolina usually does not be well in the oven, it remains a little raw. Cottage cheese in combination with berries is very useful.
