Step by step method

  • Step 1

    Wash apples and wipe dry. If desired, cut off the peel, be sure to remove the core. We cut two apples into small cubes, two into thin slices, they will go for decoration. Break the eggs into a suitable bowl.

    Pour all the sugar and beat with a blender or mixer for 5-7 minutes. Then pour in kefir and add soda. Mix with a spoon or whisk.

    Sift flour and stir until smooth. We make sure that there are no lumps left in the dough. Line the bottom of the springform pan with baking paper. Lubricate the parchment and walls liberally with odorless vegetable oil.

    Pour half of the dough, slightly level. Spread the apple cubes in an even layer. Fill with the rest of the dough and beautifully lay out the apple slices.

  • Step 5

    We send the pie to the middle shelf of the oven. Baking temperature 180 degrees. Baking time depends on the oven and takes an average of 45-60 minutes. Therefore, periodically check the degree of readiness with a wooden stick.

  • If the eggs are large enough three pieces, if small it is better to take four.

  • The amount of sugar can be varied as desired. If you want to get a sweeter kefir apple pie - add 1.5 cups of sugar, less - take less than a glass.

  • The more apples you add to the pie, the juicier it will turn out.

  • The cooking time for kefir apple pie can be reduced if you cook it in a mini version, that is, make several portions. Just divide the dough into small molds and bake for 15-20 minutes.

  • Before transferring the pie to a plate, be sure to cool it, otherwise it may fall apart and lose its appetizing appearance.
