Step by step method

  • Step 1

Three cheese on a small grater. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with a whisk until smooth and pour them into a plate with cheese chips.

  • Step 2

Mix everything thoroughly with a spoon and salt to taste. Add flour and knead soft dough.

  • Step 3

Sprinkle flour on a plate for breading. From the cheese mass, we sculpt small balls with our hands and roll each one in turn in flour. We spread the blanks on a well-heated pan with sunflower oil and fry them on both sides until browned.

  • Step 4

We send the finished balls on paper towels to drain excess fat from them. You can cook such an appetizer at least every day, or you can surprise guests for a holiday.

Tips & variations

  • It is necessary to form blanks small in size (about 3-4 cm in diameter). This way they cook faster and are easier to handle.

  • Sunflower oil for frying should be used refined and odorless.

  • After frying, it is advisable to put the product on paper napkins or a towel to remove excess fat.

  • To minimize the harm from frying snacks in oil, the pan must be well heated. Then the ball will immediately be covered with a golden crust, and inside it will remain soft and juicy.

  • The taste of fried balls is ideally complemented by chicken or mushrooms.

  • Cheese balls can be served with various sauces: sweet, salty or spicy. Garlic, cherry and cranberry sauces will perfectly emphasize the taste of the dish.
