Tips & variations

  • Remember that the amount of flour depends on the amount of cocoa. That is, if you want to make your cupcakes as chocolatey as possible, reduce the portion of flour in exactly proportion and increase the portion of cocoa powder.

  • You can cook chocolate muffins with milk, kefir, sour cream, with the addition of both vegetable and butter.

  • The dough is easiest to make when all the ingredients are at room temperature. Remove the food you need from the fridger in advance.

  • As a filling, you can use berry and fruit jams, as well as fresh fruits.

  • Do not fill the molds to the very top, because thanks to the baking powder or soda, the dough increases significantly in size in the oven.

  • By the way, to bake products with filling, pour about 1-2 tbsp. the dough on the bottom of a small mold, put the filling, and pour the same amount of dough on top. Bake as usual. Thanks to the filling, the dessert will look like a cake.
