Step by step method
Prepare the carrots: peel the top layer, wash. We also clean a large onion.
We cut (if necessary) the carrot into convenient pieces, load it into a saucepan, pour water over the top edge of the contents, put it on the stove to cook. Our task: to wait for full readiness - this is about 30 minutes from the boiling point.
We pass soft, almost cooled carrots through a meat grinder (mechanical or electric) along with the onion.
At this point, add all the spices, including salt. Additionally, you can use your favorite set of seasonings. Let's put all the semolina in. Let's mix the ingredients.
Let's break an egg.
Let's add sour cream. Again and finally mix the mass until smooth. Leave the minced carrot alone for at least 20 minutes: during this time, the semolina should swell slightly.
Let's start sculpting neat cutlet blanks. This is a fairly easy process: the carrot mass does not stick to the fingers and keeps its shape well. Each product must be rolled in breading.
Heat the oil (about 6 tablespoons) in a pan until bubbles appear. Immediately lay out a portion of the blanks and wait for the appetizing crust to appear on the underside. Turn over and wait until the second side is ready.
Tender carrot cutlets do not need to be cooled, try them hot. They are wonderfully suited to any, even the most modest side dish.
