Step by step method

  • Step 1

Pour the right amount of condensed milk into a suitable tall bowl.

  • Step 2

Add three tablespoons of cocoa powder. If you want to get a richer chocolate flavor, you can use more.

  • Step 3

With a mixer at low speed, mix the ingredients until the cocoa is completely dispersed in condensed milk.

  • Step 4

At the next stage, pour in a full glass of cream in a thin stream, continuing mixing without increasing the speed.

  • Step 5

The result should be a homogeneous mass with medium air bubbles on the surface, as in the photo. In total, the whipping process will take about 10-12 minutes.

  • Step 6

Now send the bowl to the freezer for 30 minutes. Then we take out the future dessert and beat it with a mixer for 2-3 minutes. We return to the freezer and after half an hour repeat the procedure. Thus, we do 2 more times, after which we leave it to solidify for about 3-4 hours. We transfer chocolate ice cream to plates for serving and treat relatives and friends.

Tips & variations

  • Instead of cocoa powder, you can take natural chocolate. There are two ways to melt chocolate for ice cream: in a water bath or in a microwave oven.

  • To speed up the process of preparing a dessert, granulated sugar can be replaced with powdered sugar.

  • Ice cream will turn out tender and homogeneous if the mass that is in the freezer is gently mixed every 30-40 minutes.

  • Keeping ice cream for more than 6 hours in the freezer is not recommended. Ice crystals can form in it, which will spoil the taste and appearance.

  • You can store ready-made ice cream in the freezer for no more than two weeks.
