Step by step method

  • Step 1

    Rinse the peas thoroughly under running water. Then soak it in cold water for at least 4 hours. It is best to soak overnight.

    Cut beef meat into small pieces.

    Place in a hot pot with vegetable oil. Fry over high heat for 5-7 minutes.

    After a while, pea porridge with meat and bacon is ready.

  • Experienced housewives know that pea groats are specific, there are secrets of its preparation. To make the cooking process go faster, it is better to soak the cereal in the evening. Crushed peas are cooked the fastest, however, porridge will look more like mashed potatoes.

  • Currently, pea flakes can be found in stores (peas are flattened in a special way). It is even easier to cook such cereals, cooking is not required at all, you just need to pour boiling water over it, cover with a lid and let it brew.
