A very simple and tasty salad with chicken and beetroot is perfect for both breakfast and dinner. The salad is light, not very fatty ( not more than 150 kcal), but very healthy. In addition, such an appetizer will appeal not only to adults, but also to children.
The products are all available. If you boil the beets in advance and prepare other ingredients, it takes very little time to cook. You can fill with mayonnaise, sour cream, yogurt.
We make sour cream dressing in the dietary version as follows: mix 2 tablespoons of sour cream with 1 tsp. lemon juice, salt, mustard- on the tip of a knife. It turns out no worse than mayonnaise, but much more useful.

Step by step method

  • Step 1

Boil separately chicken meat, beets and eggs. Cool completely and start preparing the salad.

  • Step 2

Chicken meat is divided by hand into fibers or cut into strips, cubes, as you like.

  • Step 3

We peel the eggs from the shell, cut into medium cubes. You can use a special cutting tool.

  • Step 4

We cut the cheese into cubes (leave a small piece for sprinkling) and combine the products in one bowl.

  • Step 5

Grate peeled beets on a coarse grater in a common bowl. If desired, they can be cut into very thin straws.

  • Step 6

Add mayonnaise or sour cream dressing and mix so that all the pieces are covered with sauce.

  • Step 7

We decorate the salad for a beautiful presentation. You can put it in a deep salad bowl or on a flat plate through the ring, just a slide. Grate some cheese on top, then you can sprinkle with nuts.

  • Step 8

    We serve immediately.
