A very simple and tasty salad with chicken and beetroot is perfect for both breakfast and dinner. The salad is light, not very fatty ( not more than 150 kcal), but very healthy. In addition, such an appetizer will appeal not only to adults, but also to children.
The products are all available. If you boil the beets in advance and prepare other ingredients, it takes very little time to cook. You can fill with mayonnaise, sour cream, yogurt.
We make sour cream dressing in the dietary version as follows: mix 2 tablespoons of sour cream with 1 tsp. lemon juice, salt, mustard- on the tip of a knife. It turns out no worse than mayonnaise, but much more useful.
The cooking time of beetroot depends on its size, weight and variety.
Beets can be boiled or baked in the oven. In the second case, it will turn out more useful.
Products can be cut into cubes, straws or slices, grated. It all depends on your personal preferences.
As a dressing, you can use mayonnaise, as well as sour cream, natural yogurt and even fat kefir.
You can add corn, green peas, boiled carrots to the salad.
Especially interesting is the salad with smoked/grill chicken or sausage.
