Step by step method

  • Step 1

    In slightly warm milk, put sugar, salt, soda, butter. Enter eggs one at a time. Whisk everything well.

    Roll one pancake into a roll and cut into 5-7 pieces. It will go to decorate the top of the pancake cake.

    Lubricating each pancake with cream, put them in a pile on a dish.

    Place improvised roses on top.

Tips & variations

  • The classic recipe for pancakes: for each glass of flour, take a glass of milk / water and 1 chicken egg.

  • It is better to beat the ingredients for pancakes with a mixer, so the dough will turn out without lumps, homogeneous.

  • If, at the end of whipping, pour in a few tablespoons of vegetable oil, then when frying pancakes, it is no longer necessary to pour oil into the pan.

  • Pancake cake can be prepared not only for dessert with sweet cream, but also as a second course. The filling can be vegetable - from fresh or stewed vegetables. You can also cook a pancake cake with minced meat or chicken fillet. Fried mushrooms are another popular type of filling.

  • For a more delicious sour cream, it is better to use sour cream with at least 18% fat and add a little lemon juice. First, beat sour cream with sugar well, add lemon juice, and beat for another minute.
